The DIN rail transmitters for a wide range of input signals, the DRMA-S2 and DRMA-S4 from Müller Industrie Elektronik GmbH.
With the new Series 2 and Series 4 transmitters, Müller Industrie-Elektronik presents a universally applicable solution for industrial and measurement applications. Based on MATU electronics, the new high-performance standard, the devices enable flexible processing of different sensor signals.
Inputs can be load/force measurement pulses via strain gauges in full bridge (from 350 Ω), temperature sensors (RTD Pt100/Pt1000, 2- to 4-wire), and either current or voltage signals (e.g., 0–20 mA, 0…10 V), thus covering a wide range of applications in automation and measurement technology.
On the output side, the DRMA-S2 and DRMA-S4 deliver either 4...20 mA in 2- or 3-wire mode or 0...10 V in 3-wire mode. With a supply of 9...35 V DC or 12...35 V DC. In addition, limit values can be defined as switching points and the Width, the DRMA-S4, can be configured and evaluated via an integrated display and buttons on the housing.
Thanks to this versatility, the transmitters are ideal for control cabinet installations and are suitable for hybrid sensor signals. Electrical connections are made via pluggable 4-pin terminal strips. The device has an IP20 protection rating. The devices are configured using the free TrComm-Panel software, which is also available as a private label for OEM requirements.
Particularly noteworthy is the variable integration of a wide variety of sensor types such as strain gauges, RTDs, current, voltage, and potentiometers from 350 Ω in compact DIN rail housings. This simplifies planning, warehousing, and use in series production facilities.
