What does protection class IP69K mean?
The designation IP stands for International Protection and describes the degree of protection of an enclosure against the ingress of solid foreign bodies and water.

The first digit (6) certifies dust tightness, i.e., complete protection against dust and contact, while the second digit (9K) stands for protection against high-pressure ingress, such as during steam jet cleaning at high temperatures.

According to ISO 20653/DIN 40050 9, this protection class is the highest protection type in the field of device enclosures.
